Melvin Tunstall Returns to Alamance County!

This year, Alamance Arts' Artful Afternoon presents a very special guest, Melvin Tunstall.

Alamance Art’s Artful Afternoon Lunch and Lecture is held annually around Valentine’s Day. The purpose of the series is to secure needed funds for Alamance Arts and to celebrate the art and accomplishments of our guest speakers who have contributed to the world of art.

We give you the opportunity to listen to Melvin Tunstall's story, have some lunch, and sit with your friends on Friday, February 12th. Who is Melvin Tunstall, you ask? He hails from Green Level, North Carolina, and is now a Broadway star!

Tunstall is currently part of the cast of “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.” His parents, Melvin and Linda Tunstall along with others in the local art community, encouraged him to follow his dream of singing and performing. Prior to “Beautiful”, Tunstall was part of the Toronto company of “Rosee of Ages” and was on tour in Europe with “Ain’t Misbehavin’.”

The Artful Afternoon committee is seeking sponsors for the event. Sponsorship levels include:

$5,000- sponsor receives a table for ten, their name on all printed materials, and a private pre-reception and picture with the speaker

$2,500- sponsor receives a table for ten and their name in the program

$1,000- sponsor receives one seat at the speaker table and their name in the program

$350- sponsor receives a table for ten
