Art Changes People...People Change the World.

We at Alamance Arts have so much to be thankful for.

We are so thankful for all the support we have gained from our community. Our goal is to support and promote the arts here in Alamance County—to help shape the cultural identity of our citizens. Thanks to our supporters, we have been able to do just that.

As we have said time and time again, we have a vision. We have a vision of a county in which the arts flourish—where our reputation for excellence in the arts will attract visitors from across the state, country, and world. We envision a community in which the arts are cherished among its most valuable assets. We picture a community in which arts programming and facilities are exceptional. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn and grow through the magic of the arts.

It is so important to advocate that your community takes the time to explore the humanities and arts in their many, varied dimensions. From visual to performing arts—western to non-western, classical to avant-garde—art has helped shape our culture and our lives. Art allows us to make a statement about ourselves and our place in the world.

Even though we have made such a great difference in our community already, we are hungry for more! There is so much more we could do to support the arts. All we ask for is a little help.

This is the time of year to be thankful for what we have—to reflect on the things that have made a difference in our lives. What better way to show that you’re thankful for the arts than donating to your local nonprofit arts organization? Today is "Giving Tuesday"—please help support our cause. Every dollar counts! We thank you in advance for supporting the arts!
